Rodolfo Alzate studied psychology at the University of Antioquia. He started his private practice in Medellín when he graduated in 2009. Before graduating, he did his psychology internship at the Arts Department of the University of Antioquia, where for a year and a half, he supported clients in therapy sessions with students from several different artistic disciplines: music, theater, visual arts and dance.

He also worked with the Mayor’s Office of Medellín as a counselor and psychologist for over 250 youth and their families from vulnerable neighborhoods that had abeen affected by violence in Medellín.

As a musician, he was awarded a scholarship from the Mayor’s Office of Medellín to travel to Germany where he debuted his music career, and held concerts in Berlin and Leipzig. You can listen to some of his music here.

Since 2009, Rodolfo has been counseling individuals at his private practice, helping them to improve their quality of life, fulfill their goals and overcome obstacles that interfere with their lives. These individuals have included both men and women, university students, musicians, university professors, visual artists, engineers, architects, designers, illustrators, taxi drivers, doctors, actors and economists, etc.
